The Redmi K90 series promises to be a real breakthrough in Xiaomi’s sub-flagship smartphone lineup.
According to Smart Pikachu, the new products will get a significant performance boost thanks to advanced chipsets, and the release could take place earlier than expected – presumably in September or October 2025.
The devices will be equipped with an innovative Chinese-made screen with an eye protection function. Smartphones will receive a metal frame and increased radii of rounding, as well as an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.

The Pro model is rumored to get a 50-megapixel periscopic module that will provide high quality long-range shooting. This is the first use of such technology in the Redmi K series, which will bring it closer to Xiaomi’s flagship standards. The base version will do without the periscope.
