Shipments of GeForce RTX 50 graphics cards sharply increased 10 times at once. However, not all models

It looks like shipments of GeForce RTX 50 graphics cards are starting to increase. At least that’s what several sources are claiming.

Blogger and insider Moore’s Law Is Dead has received word from several retailers that they have abruptly started receiving about an order of magnitude more Nvidia graphics cards than usual.

We’re mostly talking about the RTX 5070 and RTX 5070 Ti cards, but shipments of the RTX 5080 and RTX 5060 Ti 16GB have also increased. The RTX 5090, unfortunately, remains in the same shortage.

It’s not hard to see that we’re primarily talking about cards that compete with the very successful Radeon RX 9070 and 9070 XT. Perhaps, Nvidia realized that it has launched the situation too much and decided to fix it urgently.

It should be said that a 10x increase in shipments is a lot anyway, but in the case of RTX 50 we’re talking about an increase from 20-30 cards to 200-300 cards. That’s still quite small in terms of demand, but if it continues for at least a reasonable amount of time, it could make a big difference in pricing and availability.

It’s also worth noting that the situation with the RTX 5070 is actually quite good. Both in the US and Europe the cards are available in large quantities, there are models at the recommended price, and there are even the first offers at a price lower than the recommended price. Perhaps, by the way, this is just a consequence of increased supplies.
