Additionally, the report found that podcast listening has increased, with 41% of respondents saying they have listened to a podcast in the past month, up from 36% in 2022.
The report also highlighted the importance of diversity in newsrooms, with 42% of respondents stating that they would be more likely to pay for news if the news organization had a more diverse staff. Finally, the report found that overall trust in news remains low, with only 44% of respondents saying they trust most news most of the time.
